Dahlia Tuber Shipping
All our tubers ship direct from our farm using USPS Priority Shipping. Please see our timetable page for shipping times to your state. Please understand that shipping time is a very busy period on the farm and emails and calls requesting shipping times can slow the process down as our small, dedicated team are all hands on deck in the shipping room.

Live Plant & Rooted Cutting Policy

Due to the live and perishable nature of dahlia tubers, rooted cuttings, and live plants, all sales are considered final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on live plant material.

Plants are living organisms, and once they leave our farm, their condition can be affected by factors outside our control including weather, shipping delays, temperature fluctuations, handling during transit, planting conditions, watering practices, pests, and individual growing environments.

Rooted cuttings in particular are actively growing young plants and may show signs of normal shipping stress upon arrival. Minor yellowing, leaf drop, soft stems, or cosmetic damage can occur during transit and do not necessarily affect the long-term health or performance of the plant. In most cases, dahlias recover quickly once planted and acclimated.

What we ask before purchasing:
• Please carefully review all product descriptions, shipping timelines, and growing information before ordering.
• Understand that rooted cuttings are young live plants, not finished nursery specimens, and appearance may vary naturally.
• Reach out before ordering if you have questions regarding timing, sizing, or growing requirements.

Shipping & Weather Delays

We reserve the right to delay shipments when weather conditions may place plants at risk during transit, including freezing temperatures or extreme heat. Our goal is always to ship plants at the safest possible time for successful arrival.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives severely damaged due to shipping issues, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photos of both the plants and packaging.

Claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. At our sole discretion, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or other resolution where appropriate.

We are not responsible for:
• Delays caused by carriers or weather
• Minor cosmetic damage or normal shipping stress
• Damage resulting from exposure after delivery
• Plant decline due to growing conditions or care after arrival
• Failure to follow planting or acclimation guidance
