Each dahlia order grows into one plant and ships in the spring. Books ship as they’re ordered. If purchased together, items ship separately and costs reflect different timelines.
Bell’s Cathcart has a lovely old-fashioned charm, with soft rose-pink petals fading to creamy ivory at the edges. The 4–5 inch blooms have a beautiful, full form with gently curled petals towards the center, giving them the appearance of an old garden rose.
I've been particularly impressed with how consistent this variety is, both in its coloring and flower form. It's a vigorous grower, reaching around 5 feet tall, and produces plenty of blooms throughout the season. A really lovely garden dahlia that also makes an excellent cut flower.
Dahlia tubers will ship between April 1 and May 31, 2027.
