NEW RELEASE FOR 2026
Bell’s Elsie Inglis
Formal Decorative | 4–5’ | 6–7” blooms | Mid to Late Season | Excellent cut variety
Description:
A pale blush-cream bloom with depth - soft ivory petals brushed with rose at their base, gathering like folded silk. Its color shifts with the light - cool and pearly in morning shade, warm and luminous by evening.
Grower’s Notes:
Reliable stems, refined form, and grest vase life. Best in full sun with steady moisture. Flowers lighten through the season. Ideal for wedding work and late-summer design.
Note on the Name:
Named for Dr. Elsie Inglis - the Scottish doctor and suffragist who founded hospitals run entirely by women during the First World War. The maternity hospital in Edinburgh where I was born carried her name, and this dahlia carries it forward.
