Each dahlia order grows into one plant and ships in the spring. Books ship as they’re ordered. If purchased together, items ship separately and costs reflect different timelines.
Bell’s Florentina is a beautiful dahlia with an antique elegance and the soft, luminous tones of mother-of-pearl. Its 5-inch blooms feature layers of delicately curved, shell-like petals in shifting shades of ivory, champagne, blush pink, and pale apricot. At the heart of each flower, intricately curled and quilled petals create a remarkable sculptural center, reminiscent of tiny seashells nestled within the bloom.
An offspring of Castle Drive, Bell’s Florentina has been part of my private collection for several years and has been well loved for wedding and floral design work. Beyond its unusual beauty, it's an outstanding garden performer, producing vigorous, bushy plants reaching approximately 5 feet tall. A prolific bloomer with excellent tuber production, this variety combines distinctive floral form with exceptional growing qualities.
Dahlia tubers will ship between April 1 and May 31, 2027.
