Description:

Bell’s Soprano most often opens in a rich burgundy. As the bloom develops, creamy blush petals begin to push forward, contrasting with the darker petals behind them. At times the cream shows up in scattered splotches or clustered patches, so no two flowers are quite the same. Blooms average 4–5 inches and the plant stays compact at 3–4 feet, producing plenty of useful stems for cutting and garden display.

 

Grower’s Note: Pinch early for more branching. Cooler nights tend to sharpen the contrast between the burgundy and cream tones.
