Big, beautiful, and as reliable as they come. Otto’s Thrill produces giant rose-pink blooms that can easily reach 8 to 10 inches across. The petals are lush and full, with a soft gradient that sometimes leans toward peach or blush depending on the light.

Plants grow to about four feet tall with a solid, upright habit. You’ll want to stake early, as the blooms are heavy and abundant once they get going. This variety starts flowering midseason and keeps pushing blooms into fall with consistent deadheading.

As a cut flower, Otto’s Thrill is a star. The stems are strong and the flowers last well in the vase if harvested at about three-quarters open. Each bloom feels generous, romantic, and just a little theatrical.

It’s one of those varieties that earns its space every year—sturdy in the field, striking in arrangements, and always a favorite with visitors.
