Grower’s Notes:
Big, spidery cactus blooms with quilled petals that curl and twist like they’re reaching for the sun. The color shifts gently from rose-pink toward a creamy center, sometimes picking up lavender tones in cooler light. Blooms are consistent and strong on sturdy stems, and the plant holds up surprisingly well through summer rain.

It’s a solid mid-border plant at about 40 inches tall, and it flowers steadily from midsummer to frost. We’ve had great luck with it in the field and the tunnel. It makes a nice cut flower, too, with blooms that open cleanly and last well in the vase. Easy to grow, easy to like.
